Amanda Louise Murrey, 47, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005. She was born on September 3, 1957 in West Chester, PA to the late Jesse E. and Mary E. Scott Murrey.
As a young girl she moved to Kennett Square and attended the Kennett Area Schools. She worked at May Casino?s and in addition she worked at ?The Buck?, an Iron Foundry in Lancaster.
Amanda was a member of Highway Tabernacle F.B.H of Kennett Square. She loved Karaoke, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Michael W. Murrey, Sr., Gwen M. Miller, Jason D. Murrey and Darrell A. Murrey all of Lancaster; five sisters, Mary ?Libby? Mumford of Smyme, DE, Justine Thomas of Atlantic City, NJ, Helena M. Murrey and Annetta Allen both of Lancaster, and Sandra Murrey of Wilmington, DE; Lester Murrey of Colorado Springs, CO, Howard Murrey of Lancaster, PA, Randy Murrey, MD; and eight grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Murrey who passed in 2004.
